New Zealand Clinches Series With Dominant 3-0 Sweep Over Pakistan in Third ODI

New Zealand wrapped up a convincing 3-0 series win against Pakistan after securing a 43-run victory in the third One Day International at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.

In a rain-affected match, both sides were restricted to 42 overs each. Batting first, New Zealand posted a competitive total of 264/8, led by solid half-centuries from opener Rhys Mariu and skipper Michael Bracewell.

Pakistan, in response, struggled to build momentum and were dismissed for 221 runs in 40 overs, falling short despite a few resilient partnerships. The Kiwi bowlers maintained pressure throughout, sealing a comprehensive win.

Earlier in the series, New Zealand had taken control with dominant victories in the first two ODIs—winning by 73 runs in Napier and 84 runs in Hamilton—showcasing their all-round strength and consistency across the tour.

With this clean sweep, New Zealand continues to build strong momentum heading into upcoming international fixtures.
