Death Toll in Gaza Soars

In Gaza, the Health Ministry confirmed that at least 48,572 Palestinians have been killed and 112,032 wounded since the war began. However, the Government Media Office in Gaza revised the total death toll to over 61,700, citing thousands still missing under the rubble and presumed dead.

On the Israeli side, at least 1,139 people were killed in the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attacks, with more than 200 taken hostage.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to escalate, with aid organizations warning of imminent catastrophe if urgent relief is not allowed in.
