Tim Seifert Shines as New Zealand Clinch 4-1 T20 Series Win Over Pakistan

 New Zealand capped off a dominant T20 series against Pakistan with an eight-wicket victory in Wellington, chasing down a target of 129 in emphatic fashion to win the series 4-1.

Tim Seifert was the star of the show, smashing an unbeaten 97 off just 38 balls, leading New Zealand to an easy win. He set the tone right from the first over, hitting 18 runs off Jahandad Khan. Fellow opener Finn Allen joined the onslaught, adding 14 runs in the second over from Mohammad Ali.


Seifert’s aggressive batting continued, especially in the sixth over, when he pummeled Jahandad for 25 runs, including three sixes. His magnificent innings featured six fours and 10 towering sixes.

Finn Allen contributed 27 off 12 balls, including five boundaries and a six, before being dismissed in the seventh over with New Zealand on 93. Mark Chapman departed shortly after for just three runs, but Seifert and Daryl Mitchell (2 not out) comfortably finished the chase, reaching 131-2.

Earlier, Pakistan struggled to put up a competitive total, managing only 128-9, with captain Salman Agha and Shadab Khan providing some resistance in the middle order.

New Zealand's comprehensive win capped off a dominant series performance.
